or i should say... i went home. lolz... i'm really very happy to get home. no one in this world wont be happy to be home i guess.. hehe..^^ it's indeed good to be in the house of Lord.
today had a special sunday service. a very different one. which i never encountered before. guess what... today's sunday service was without pastor's sermon!! lol...
lotsa sisters in Christ were happy tat i finally wanna settle down at hope. hehe... sisters, praise the Lord, dont thank me. hehe... connie chan's sister is one of them. connie chan... an ex-highian. creax should know her. haha!
before the sunday service get started, we actually had few programs. we praised and worshipped our Lord, the king of kings for a while. when we start sang the first song, i was touched! that's song which simply praising our Lord that God is great at all times. yet, i was touched by that simple song! frankly, i almost shed my tears for that. haha! but isnt it great to know that God is great at all times? ehee...
after a short praise and worship, we were then separated to classes, to listen to God's word to prepare our heart for sermon of the day. things taught were different according to classes i guess. didnt ask. >.<>
then we started our praise and worship "formally". after tat, it was the timothy award ceremony 2008. which is specially for those who do well in their studies while serving hard for God. especially those who are active in church's activities but still get good results in their academics. this glorifies God name alot! testimonials shared. which shows that God is really real. He's very very real... indescribable. there's a final year architectural guy. who struggled for his first three years before knowing God. his results back then was just so so... nothing special. after some time he accepted Lord, his results improved tremendously. especially when he started to commit himself in church's activities. his lecturers were impressed by his designs. he got a CPA of 3.95. getting a gold medal in the coming convocation, not only a first class honour of degree!!! woo hooo.... there are lotsa testimonials still. i'm just sharing one of them to let people know how real is God..*God wants me share the gospel mar...=P*
hope church has alot of architectural students. pastor said, every creation in this world is created by God. He's the source of creativity. so.. archi students... it's wise to come before Lord. u'll be more creative. aha~
the service was ended with lunch provided. kudos to hope church!!*applause please.. clap clap*
realized tat i'm the ONE and ONLY ONE first year from civil engineering XD my super super super senior who's going to graduate as a doctor of philosophy soon said tat i'm important!!*woo woot.. i'm important wor... clap clap...* well... i'm important as in sharing gospel kay... hehe...
hmm dont feel like changing course anymore. after today, i believe tat it's Lord's will that i'm doing civil engineering now. He'll only give me something which suits me. maybe He knows tat archi doesnt suit me and i'm willing to surrender myself to let God use me to fulfill His plan.. aha~ God is my refuge and strength, no matter how difficult civil engineering is to me, i believe He will be bring me through all the goods and bads. AMEN! wont care how stupid am i in matrix students' eyes, i believe i'm the most brilliant one in God's eyes. haha~
