IK's welcoming nite

ik stands for ikatan kristian. UTM ones.
they had this welcoming night last night. supposed only for freshman, but some seniors from ik invited me, so i went for fun.

the main point is--> met a not-bad final year guy of faculty of mechanical engineering.
bad thing was-- i happened to be too talkative. cause his friend was sort of kiam pak *hokkien*
he's quite a silent guy. from kuching also. aha~

ala~ see only. no action. mechanical's fac so far from mine.. lol.

social issues

bet most of the kuchingnites(those of town areas) know this----along the road down to airport from the flyover of simpang tiga, the nice nice green-y trees were all down.

my only feeling towards this is angry and sad. serious. suddenly along the road, the environment is so empty. suddenly THE people so mercilessly approved the chopping down of trees for flyover-to-be. i so so so so hate THE people. really. beh tahan. sarawak memang famous of trees mar, why so kepo wanna built such a "chut song" *hokkien* flyover wor. by name its for the conveniences of kuchingnites and people outside. by name. only we kuchingnites know what's going on.

beh liang la! duh.

then comes the issue on whether to teach science and maths in english or our national language.

walao ey. use ur brain la. of course use english to teach those subjects since young wat. as if.. why only starts that for form four and five students? students have to learn every sci-fi term from the beginning again. wasting time. malaysia boleh la.

my lecturer for mechanical and electrical system also supported the phrase "malaysia boleh". cable cars of i-forgot-the-place-name is only supported by ONE cable whereas cable cars of singapore are supported by two cables, so when one of them breaks or what, there's still another one supporting the cable cars. hah. malaysia memang boleh. pengsan

schedule is packed like nuts. almost everyday has marathon. except friday. cause my friday is free! well.



status: SAD. the true sad, not the single, available and desperate thingy.

i submitted my course changing application form last friday to my faculty's deputy dean, in a way to discuss with him regarding this matter also. but due to the EAC thingy, he hold the process to discuss with dean also. it's understood. cause the two were busy like nuts dealing with the panels from Engineering Accreditation Council, i supposed. so i told my deputy dean that i'd be back for my form today that time.



happily dismissed an hour earlier from numerical method with no labs this week, i went to claim my approval. guess wat, the deputy dean said that he's still busy as the EAC thingy had just ended yesterday. suggested me to talk with the dean or the deputy dean of faculty of built environment.



ok lo. happily walked from my fac to the fac of built environment with my sketch book. waited for the deputy dean of FAB for awhile. then talked to him. i brought my sketch book in with me, mind you. to conclude the discussion, he talked crap. yes, CRAP!

"there's no shortcut for the process, you'll have to write-in formally, passed the interview and the test, let the head of department see how"then bla bla bla. kept crapping! i hold my sketch book, he didnt even care to ask to have a look man! gosh!

so sad de oh. deputy dean of my fac asked me to go try talk and see if FAB wants me not then the process of changing course would be easy. then now, the deputy dean of FAB is so............*undescribable*

so sad.

i dont mind to stay up till 2am with a pen or pencil and a sketch book in front of me. serious. the more i sketch, the more alert i am.
i dont mind spending another two o three more years as compared to civil here in UTM.
i'd be happy as long as i'm in what i want.

i believe Lord God wont want me to keep strugling with cements, road, soil, geotechnics and bla bla bla. that's a torment. *sigh*

I WANT ARCHITECTURE!

faculty

i had a thought on the week before juniors registered themselves in respected uni.
and that's no other than-----changing course! changing faculty would be another saying.
course i want??? architecture of course!
i pondered and asked around. asked God, of course! then i'm back here in UTM last sunday, and till yesterday morning, i didnt have much thought about it. not until last nite, the thought of changing course popped up again causing me had to pray hard in order to sleep well.
there i went to see my PA *academic advisor*
a short chat, he wanted me to stay in civil still tho, told me the procedure to change course also.
well,
if it's God's will for me to change to architecture, i'd be on cloud nine.

civil is NOT for me.
God's mercy, hopefully i can work things out well.

my academic advisor asked me to go talk with the dean of faculty alam bina straight away and see what he'd say. but.... his personal assistant stopped me and asked me to fill in a form and write a letter, she said that i dun have to meet the dean bla bla bla.

how?


GOD knows. pray hard for His guidance. surely He wont want me to suffer. heh

new semester

officially in my second year yesterday.

so far... so good. not good tho, just ok.



this year's juniors... not bad o. break the records of those years before us and also my batch--> more good looking juniors. guys and girls alike. guys, if wanna fish, probly can start consider my faculty. heh heh. the juniors only tho. hehe...



was superb kektio yesterday after dinner. as usual, at cengal but a bit late this time *in order to get to know juniors*

the story began: i saw huisee, a senior of city harvest, so i went and said hi to her, with some short chat. a junior stood beside her. my junior. he once guess, jiu guess if i'm a third year senior *faint* he then guessed again and said:"final year?" *faint longer* first time in my life i was guessed to be older than my actual age. normally people would guess that i'm few years younger than i am. as i'm in charge of arranging the direct senior and junior list, without second hesitation i told him that he wont have any direct senior *well, joking of course*



huhu kektio! *stupid*









lectures-not so packed except for thursday. tat's a torment. a marathon from 8am till 1pm then from 2pm till 5pm. crazy-ING



thank God that there wont be any labs these two weeks, so yea, quite free at this time. hehe.



room-same as last sem. as in room number. heh.



one sad thing. i only have countable tees this sem, which means, i can no longer pile up my sweaty tees for a week then baru have them washed *cries*

i should only opt for MAS after this. well, as usual, 20kg all and all, exceeding 5kg, causing me to pay another RM75. RM75, man! not lil. *sigh* no more airasia no matter how cheap is the fare compared to MAS. hmph!

well, one more title i'll receive when i'm back. 'senior'. shrugs
