life updates

how time flies and i hadn't been writing a post since so long ago.
i wonder who still keep a blog active as social medias are more of a hot cake as compared to blogger.

hiccups on and off through these days.
i'm still doing okay after all.

just a little update,
I've completed my master's course *hooray* haha! the final sem on law was indeed tormenting. thank God i managed to pull it through.

bought a last min ticket to Xi An and Jiu Zhai Gou China.
ticket bought a mth before departure. and itinerary was planned roughly as i still had to focus on my final exam.
the trip was good. to blog about it when i have more time to spare. aha

after the trip i went back home for three mths plus, while waiting to start new job.
managed to pick up swimming lesson during the long break. and I've yearned to learn to swim all the while.
love swimming now.

back to sg in mid of july with new job.
and to find that something was not straight with church life.

convocation was in august. me and my battle mates for the past two years. some i get to know from different modules that we did together. 

appreciate friend who took leave and spent on air ticket and hotel just to attend my convocation. very touched indeed. and another friend who took leave from work and travel all the way to my uni. haha! 

didn't like the job so i quitted end Sep and to find a job that I'm currently in and love it to max that I'm quite ok to work till 5pm on saturday. haha!

its very important to get a job that you love, so you won't have to work a day. and yea, it feels like I'm just interacting with people, rushing deadlines like doing school assignments instead of being at work. haha!

and things have fallen into places as of now, be it at work or at church, all good, as I've moved on to another church.

and, December has been good to me so far =)

parts and puzzles of december

december had been quite good to me.

a good meal for birthday as usual.
since was back on the birthday itself, so i went for food hunt two days earlier.

an omakase meal of $68 at Kaiware.

 this is scallop

 assorted sashimi

 shishamo, which is an add-on

 chawanmushi with good ingredients

 this made the $68 worthy.

*dunno what fish was that, uni sushi, ikura sushi*

 when i saw the bento i went jaw dropped. i was full after the sushi set. sincerely

smoked duck with rice, mentaiko cod fish fillet, nice soup.

last last, dessert. mochi with vanilla ice cream maybe?

it's Omakase meal, which means, the chef to decide.
so i didn't know what are the dishes before hand.
seems like i have trained my taste buds well. able to tell what are some of those foods by just tasting. like the scallop, the mentaiko cod fish *yeah, can even tell what type of fish is that =.= *, the smoked duck, and the soup base =.=

next up was the wedding of Zi Ning. haha bought my air ticket a year before. december is always the peak season, any wedding of that time must be informed much earlier to secure cheap ticket XD

so we decided to throw her a bridal shower.
as only me has to fly from singapore, we worked for the decorations via Whatsapp XD

and i m very proud to say that.....

 the designs were by me!!!! XD printing was by Lynn after i had done designing and emailed her for the printing job.

the tassels , the background of the letters were by me too XD

i actually worked on it on the day before flying home till around 1+, and had not packed my stuffs yet. that was indeed crazy =.=

 and funny thing is, i bought the balloons from Singapore too!!! haha! coz we were all working.. and it turned out to be that, it's easier for me to source out balloons than the rest even though we were all  still working. so Chin Mei bought the cupcakes and Lynn bought the crown, while me managed to grab a bottle of Bottega Rose Gold Pinot Nero Brut from Changi at the 11th hour :P

and the idea to tie the balloons on the chairs was super duper last minute. like after decorating the wall and arranging the cakes and champagne haha! and, thank God I'm an engineer. and engineer can really do wonders. the balloons couldn't be tied straight up initially. me n my brain, to make all stood straight up hahahaha!!

i kind of like that ;)

i was really like 疑神疑鬼 while waiting for the bride-to-be to reach, as the bridal shower was meant to be a surprise XD

 mum was at home, so managed to get her to help us to get a shot =)

 haha! the birthday celebration was a total surprise. they all actually forgotten initially. Zi Ning did remember, my, so amazing XD and she bought the cake.
so it was a double celebration ;)

21years and counting. love this shot ;)

 thankful for them. one of my greatest blessings to have them =D

mm hmm.. friend said i won't have to be worried to be jobless in future. coz i... though being an engineer, i can be an event planner [kind of lousy one ??XD] and also an early childhood educator [cause have been in sunday school ministry for some years]. and yea, i somewhat agree to that. hahaha!

the day was two days after the bridal shower.

 the cute guy, who joined the bridesmaids team! haha!

the crash gate part in the morning was fun and funny with the groomsmen's participation. had a good belly-hurting laugh XD

the photo shooting near noon was fun too but kind of "oh my". even had heatstroke, which caused me to burn my original flight ticket back to singapore and had saline water injection at the hospital =.=

nonetheless, it's a very good memories!!!

the semester was kind of hectic, but i managed to survive. and got my first A- in NTU!! XD XD killed nine modules, only one A-, and that was a module under Civil Engineering. once again proved that my decision to be in management classes was wrong XD

ah i'm grateful for who i am today. i'm super thankful for that lousy incident back in few years ago. i couldnt imagine my current state being married and having a kid at this age. i would go crazy. i wont be able to have all the luxuries i have now, especially freedom. i would seriously go insane.

finally

hiya, back again. lol.

today was the 10th day for me to be in JCL Engineering. and the good news is, i'm DONE with the BQ of one whole project on my own!!!!! woots o.o

finally done.

and today was the first time i waited for 430pm. not long though, i did nothing for about 40mins =P

nice thing was, the office has this monthly bulletin from Institute of Engineering of Malaysia. so i read those bulletins to kill time ^^

well, after presenting my work to my boss tomorrow, what should i do after that? anymore new project?? hmm i wonder... but all those retaining wall, bakau piles, belian piles, concrete, lean concrete, open drain, cover drain, reinforcement, Y12-200, Y12-150 and etc etc are really driving me crazy. though only calculating volume and areas, but very tedious the work. i could blur my eyes with all the details ler x_x anyway, proud of my work. correct or not, i feel great to have everything done on my own. muahahahahaha. God's gracious

and this is the post-war condition in my room from sunday nite till early morning of monday.

i was rushing for an assignment tat day. i just got all the data from group mates sunday nite around 11sth. then started with the 14pgs assignments all on my own. watever details that they gave me, i mended them all as they just copied pasted from other group, except the calculation part. hence, i slept at 5AM tat morning....

and yea, after tat war, i slept with tat mess @@ toO tired to clear it ki XD

so, this is my first sarah-boil-it barley in my life with my minute rice cooker!!!!*woowoooOOt*

it's nice. just tat not very sweet. cause i only added the sweetened wintermelon. hehe...

i'm desperate to have my hair long before august. any idea, gurls? long hair looks neat, can tie, then i can go join the graduation without much worries..

i'm looking for a construction firm to work at during my may's holidays..

slept around 2sth this morning after sitcom. black eyes. hate hate hate ';..;'

went for the so called orientation organized by the third year seniors of my faculty. yup, it's a so called orientation. cause it ended up with eight people of my batch joined. kesian my seniors lor,.. can see that they'd actually planned all sorts of program for us... yet, their effort was down into the drain. sigh.... those people who didnt attend really 'chek ak' lor...

well... it's quite a fun and nice day going out with them. we went taman universiti for ais kacang. the ais kacang here very special on ouh... got melted chocolate de ei.... lol... not a bad choice to try on. then went jusco tebrau for movie.we watched Dark Knight. and it's a must-watch movie. super nice. aha~ the movie costed us RM11! haiz... back in kuching i only dare to watch movie during movie day lar... blurb... the movie started at 630pm. or rather around 7pm after those ads. and ended at 9pm. a two hours long movie. we then had our DINNER at 10pm -________________-" back to room with gastric x_x

hmm... i've met seniors of second and third year. my comment on the guys of the two years-- third year's are more good looking!! wahahahahaha.... second year only darell yong's the best. lol... but but but...

the total protein in my liver is HIGHER than the normal one!:rofl: the upper boundary is 82 while mine is 83!*laugh out loud*
i dont have the hept A antibody. the doctor asked me to have an injection. and also the what ovari cancer vaccin.
once sarah tan heard the word 'injection'.........



i nearly lari lintang pukang lerh.. wat? wanna train me to be immune to injection har? wait long long kay?XD

miracle sarah!!

Back in more than two thousand years ago,Lord Jesus was crucified on the cross for u and me. And I’m BLESSED!
Back in 1988,in an afternoon of 8th of dec,a little baby gurl was born,named sookyen. I’m blessed.
During the year of 1988 till 1998,I’d always longed to go church. But my parents were buddhist.
Year of 1998, I thank God for the broken family,which brought me back to Lord Jesus. For every baby was born, is a spirit brought to the earth from heaven.why do I thanked God for that? Cause I met my SCS(so called stepfather) who is a mr nice guy. Much more better than my biological father. I thanked God for my dad beaten me up when he was drunk. Cause I’d a chance to court and had a look on it. Bet most of u guys will never know how does a court looks like heh..? hehe… see? How blessed am I!!!!^^
Year of 2000,I thank God for the UPSR results I had. Although it wasn’t straight A’s,but I still thank God. Cause my teacher predicted a 2A’s for me. But my results was far better than that.
I thank God I went to SMK Kuching High for my secondary level. It’s indeed a blessing.
Year of 2003, I thanked God for the PMR results. Although I nearly got a straight, I still praise the Lord for that. Cause I only got 2A’s for my mock.
Christmas of 2004, I thank God for I was reborn again in the name of Father Lord, Son of God and Holy Spirit. I was baptisted!!
Year of 2005, I thank God that He blessed me with a service on youth. Eventhough only as a small usher, I do feel good by serving Him so. He died for me, I must do something to give thanks.
Year of 2006, I thank God for my SPM results. Although it’s still a distance towards a straight, I still praise the Lord. Cause I only got around 2A’s for my mock, and my higher secondary was really sucks. I thank God for SMB St Thomas, I thank God for I had the urge to join ISCF. I thank God for the post of treasurer. I’m unworthy for such a high ranking post cause I never joined ISCF back in Kuching High.
Year of 2007, I thank God for He blessed me with a car through my dad. I thank God for the mock results. Both mock 1 and 2. cause I didn’t prepare well for that. And for mock one, weeks before that I was busying with Kidsgames.*can refer to my old blog and read how did I prepare for my second mock* I thank God for moderate results I got for mock 1. I know, it’s all because of Him as I was busying with God’s work.*kidsgames was to bring the children nearer to Lord*
Year of 2008, I thank God for the STPM results. It might be lame-r than most of ppl out there, but I know, if not by Him, I wont be getting such results. I thank God for the job I hav now. I’m really blessed.
Throughout my years in this wonderful and amazing world, I thank God for all the friends I have around me.*no matter who you are* For I know, u all are my angels that Jesus sent. u guys gave me laughters and supports when I’m down…*esp kelyn*
specially to my ex, lok lok, mr y, and ylm. I thank God for ur existance. To my ex, I thank God that I met u, through u, I know that a relationship wont be going on with happiness by forcing. to the latter three.. sneezed throughout the whole session of tuition class last night.from 6.45pm till 9.15pm.after home,during bath and after bathed continue sneezing again.stop sneezing after i slept soundly.

bought packets of skittles(sour) yesterday.very nice.gave my kids to try out.there was one who wanted to spit it out right after he put it into his mouth*cause..sour* .another one,he licked*got scared when he saw the other one wanted to spit it out* last kid--no reaction.[lol..]
