and ya test 2 be on this friday LOL

basically law to engineers is like alien.

i thought finance was disaster, not until i met law.

i never thought my english is lousy, until i met law =.=

i actually had my mum to post me my oxford dictionary, which surprisingly ageing close to 20 XD

for the test, we studied through midnight for about a week.

for me, thankfully sleeping at 3am was the latest, as i still had to wake up at 6+ am for work.

@$^$#%! seriously why did i take up part time study??? beats me =.=

that thickness.. and its only half a semester. still has half a sem of lecture slides not printed yet. seriously i wonder how did law students make it through.. i really really wonder...... 

even to combine the notes of my two engineering modules last sem also weren't that thick :O

right after the test three of us were super shag like deflated tyre, yet had to survive through the lecture. 

but we didn't really pay much attention to the lecture. brain sort of auto shut down XD

lectures still had to be continued as the test only took an hour =.=

and over the weekend both me and another lady didn't feel like moving at all. she's luckier, has a weekly part time housekeeper. i still had to do housework =.= =.= the another men too bad la, need to spend time with kids XD

so i went for a good jap after the test on sunday at tampopo at clarke quay :D

despite the fact that clarke quay is only about 15mins walk from my place, i took uber there XD too tired bahhhhhhhhh HAHA

am i living in a crazy time frame?
how come i feel like last sunday was just two days ago?
and more eerily was, i knocked off at 8+ last night with my CM and ACM still in the office, no one else. reached home about 9+, woke up at 615am this morning, clocked in before 8am, and same scene, with the two managers were in the office, no one else.
the clocked out and in time gap is like just took place in an hour or so :O
i suddenly felt as if i only went home to shower and got changed and then back to work again. seriously.
how could time passed so fast that it seemed to be frozen like that????!!! OMG!!!!

dear time, why art thou flying at rocket speed? i couldn't figure it out /_\

a week passed by really like a blink of an eye
too busy too tired for everything
so tired to the level that i m even lazy to munch dinner, would really just skipped dinner, shower, rest in front of laptop and hit the sack.

on the first day i did not bring my planner home, happily left it on site.
who knows, once back home, suddenly remembered that i had to do this and that on the next day and there was no way to note it down, it left me hanging for the whole night, i doubt if i had solid three hours of sleeping =.=

now i really can feel how tired is the man when he always complain that he's tired, and couldnt sleep well due to work =.= =.= back then i still happily told him not to think of work after knocking off. now i know.... there are times when the mind really cannot shut down one.

life of an RE and a site engineer really differs a lot.
 used to be waiting for engineers to submit inspection forms and this and that. now i have to do all these my own, to study everything carefully, highlighted the relevant part and submit to the RTOs. some more have to settle this within the first half hour i clock in. so now i would choose to reach site before 8, to get more time to settle those things.
 used to have walking platform while inspecting slab rebars when spacings are bigger than 250. now i have to walk very carefully so that my feet wont get stuck halfway. the walking platforms are really only for RTOs =.= the man asked if i have learned to walk like a cat. well, i said since cranes are also under me, so i just asked the operators to lift me up :P
 used to be engineers escorting me down to site, raining days they prepare umbrella and hold for me. now i m the one to do those, to serve the RTOs.
 used to be the one to x-ray contractors, now i m the one that kena x-rayed. thank God i m main con, so i can x-ray sub con before me kena x-rayed by RTOs XD
 used to be the one sitting in the office, enjoying aircond. now it would be counted as good life if i can be in the office for four hrs including lunch time throughout the day. really sweating in and out, shirt and pants wet and dry, dry then wet, wet then dry, the cycle keep repeating itself =.=

the man asked if i regret to switch from an RE to a site engineer.
well, i quite like it tho, RE really has no challenge at all XD
at least, for the time being, i quite like my life, though i complained a lot xD XD

p.s.: if those purely sitting in the office use brain do works one also complain stressed and tired, seriously i dunno what should we who use both brain and physical energy complain... maybe too tired to complain, just hit the sack would do? haha

went to church this morning and i saw holy communion in front there.
then i was like, "eh? today got holy communion leh..."
then my friend told me, "it's april ler..."
again, i was like, "oyahor......"
brain hasn't switched to april yet... tho knowing it's april fool today. =.=

it's april. means i left two months to complete my thesis.

internship

ahoy there it's JULY! and finally it's week 9 of my internship. phewwwwwwwwwww........=.=

some bits and pieces about it then =)

the first few weeks it's about BQ (quantity take off). again. deng! nvm, better than shaking legs in the office.then last mth boss aka Mr Labaju *eraser in Hokkien -.-* said that he has a project in hand, asked me to do design work. oh no~~~~~~~~~~

it's a detached house at Kota Samarahan there.

after some explaination, i started off with framing... framing is to frame the skeleton of the structural plans from architectural drawings.

this is sth like a meeting desk, where i did BQ and framing work.

the last desk, far behind in this pic, near to the room there, left hand side one.. is where i catch snake and do strutural analysis now. hehe

innocently thought that whatever lecturers taught is useful. and i brought two thick textbooks back here plus this handouts =.= =.= =.=

one of the softwares used for analysis -- STAADPRO. i'm so thankful not to pay UTM to teach me this. there are numbers of 2days short courses, whereby we have to pay, the most expensive is RM110++. and STAADPRO is one of them -.- and now my boss pays me allowance, i asked him how to use. muahahahahaa

this is another one, ORION. user-friendlier than the STAADPRO. hehehehe...

the third one, hopefully no more. hahahaha this is PROKON. not proTon ok~? hahahaathis is nicer than ORION... wheehee......

using Excel also though.. to counter check with Prokon.

and the most important one, AutoCAD.

i do hope that i wont be able to finish this project on my last day--29/8/2011. then i dont have to worry about the safety of the house XD XD XD
my internship supposed to last for 10weeks. but since the hols gonna be till mid of sept, so i extend the training period till end of aug.

it's not easy to be in the office and facing computer all times zzzzzzzz
i'd be flake out at the end of the day. i wake up before 7am, before my alarm rings -.- and starts to get sleepy at 9pm -.- and the routine goes on and on zzzzzzzz

went out whole day yesterday with my master year seniors again. lol.....

explored new places and some fine foods. they almost dropped their jaws when they knew that i havent been to those nice places since my freshman year. lol..

so now, come to johor, and i'll bring u for nice foods, by bus XD hahaha....

our last stop was City Square for a movie. watched the Hong Kong movie "Man Suddenly In Love". eeeeeeeeee not really very funny tho.....=X

it's my first time to be out for fun for about 10hours. lol..

and i got myself into trouble before the movie started. i have a big hole in my pocket now. sigh....

i've been a very loyal customer of The Face Shop since first year second sem. the Quick and Clean series cured my acne after few months using it... and have been very loyal to that series since then.

masks, facial mist and eye serum are all from The Face Shop.

before went to Taiwan, i bought the travel set of Marine Stem Cell series. realizing that my skin gets super smooth after using the series, and my current skincare are finishing..... so i decided to get the Marine Stem Cell series......

that series arent cheap, mind you, even if they're having promotion now [it's only 10% discount for those i bought!!!]. my heart bleeds when i put each into cart *deep sigh*

the blue-green package are the Marine Stem Cell series. one is serum, and another one is gel cream. RM80+ each T.T since my toner is just newly opened, so i didnt get the toner, otherwise i'll die on the spot.

the white and tall one is cleanser RM40+

the mask sheets are OMG-ly cheap. it's under PWP (porewater pressure XD) -- purchase with purchase actly. hahahaha RM1 each if buy RM30 and above. i have a quota of 9pieces, so i get 9. only three kinds of mask sheets available for the PWP, so 3 each to make it 9... and the eye shadows.... RM80 and above get two for free.. hahahahahaha... and RM180 and above one umbrella...

going The Face Shop is like going to Jusco to stock in... every time i go, at least RM200 sure gone, like got robbed..........T.T this time wasnt an exception either *deep sigh* what to do, my skin isnt born-smooth. but it's counted quite worth while also as those things could last at least 3mths, esp the cleanser, around 5-6mths. the only thing is that, it's quite heart-aching as i have to pay a lump sum of few hundreds.......

gonna have my belt tighter these few mths again

last week of lectures.

completely stressed out. two tests for this week, one next week. assignments and replacement classes. well, lecturer of Theory of Structure has been crapping too much, and now, syllabus cant finish, replacement classes has to be made. well......

reinforced concrete design 1 assignment has been taking too much of my time and sleep. 2am is the earliest bed time. last night before 5am. and hence, i couldnt hear my alarm. lolz. thought i could sleep my heart out this saturday, but, replacement class whole day long =.=

has been stressing on MYOB these few days. Mind Your Own Business. it's an accounting software actually, but, good for warning others. LOL

mummy is in sibu now. since monday ==!!! caused me to have a lot of troubles and i'm weary now @_@

fyi, i'm working. 9am-430pm. when mummy told me she's heading to sibu yesterday afternoon, i've been cooking since last night for my dinner and today's lunch and dinner. oh my... mummy, when are you coming back???? i'm tired.

luncheon meat is always a very handy food. this was my yesterday's dinner, with the dish below.

this is french bean+needle mushrooms+button mushrooms+sweet corns. end up, very sweet the taste. i thought i could save some portion for today's lunch. who knows, i've forgotten that mummy ever said that dishes with long beans or french beans cannot be kept overnight, not even in the fridge then reheat. ouh wells, what to do... i finished the whole plate. ==

i woke up as usual this morning, 730am. even though i know that i have to prepare bento for my lunch. so, in order to settle my bento before 8am, i had fried eggs and luncheon meat again =P the easiest food ever! the rice was the leftover one after last night's dinner, i steamed it to reheat. keke.

then a quick bath. and oatmeal as breakfast as usual. thank God, reached office at 9am sharp. normally i reach at around 845am.

dining out is expensive as compared to preparing own. so, since zi ning cant make it for a dinner when i tried to date her out, i dropped by a supermarket and get myself some vegetables. again, fried it with luncheon meat. this dinner is real cheap. rice was the leftover from last night's dinner again. one cup of rice, i could finish in three meals. the vegetables is RM1.90, but i only cooked 1/3 of it =P the luncheon meat--one can less than RM4, four portion. LOL LOL!!!!

mummy not in. so after 9am-430pm in the office, i've got to drop by at the supermarket nearby my house for a quick shopping. reaching home around 5pm. half an hour of cooking. and i'm done. done as in, DEAD. tired till dead. LOL. then after that, dump all the clothes in washing machine at night and hang them out before bedtime for next day's sun.

this experience is sort of a preparation for me to be a working wife, if i wanted my career after married next time. really tiring.

and so yea, guy, if you have a gf/fiance/wife with a job, and still willing to cook you a dinner after 9-5, do cherish her. you, as a guy, are tired after working hours, and same goes to your partner! think, she has to do all the house chores also if you people didnt hire a maid. preparing breakfast, and lunch bento [if wanna save money] in the morning, then 9-5, go supermarket for vegetables, then cook you a dinner, then continued with chores, checking your kid's schoolwork. and that's her day. this is no joke tiring.

for me now, i could save some of my energy for checking kid's schoolwork.

i really salute woman with a job now, and with no maid at home some more. awwww that's............ indescribable with words haha.

i couldnt imagine how tiring would i be in the future if i'm without a maid x_x

now i know how great are women ^^ two thumbs up

the long waited day

what a working week had just passed. glad =)

everyday do B.Q. (Build Quantity), even eye mo moist also useless ~.~ and there's this side effect too! when mummy said laksa this morning, automatically a bowl of laksa popped into my mind, and unintentionally, my brain started to process the formulae to calculate the volume of that bowl laksa ==!!! exaggerating? well, it's true!!! sigh sigh.

everyday read the plans of about 12 pages, whereby certain plans have about 10 cross section details at the maximum. the plans are wrinkled d, and the edge of the first layout plan is torn! oh my sky~~

not to forget that, i've learned a lot in these few days. and, my boss, (oya, the company's name is J.C.L. Engineering), is offering me a place for my practical next year! but, my mummy's friend also offers me! aha~ gonna choose a place with higher allowance =P

i'd love my working days if my pig had lunch with me. teehee XD

even of such a short working hours, i'm always a dead meat when i reached home, after bath and dinner. lolz

i salute my stupidity

what should i describe today as?? good? bad?? i really have no idea..............

i went to send out my application letters around 11sth this morning, to apply for a job in construction firm. i purposely chose construction firm cause i wanna go explore site works this year and then consultant firm when i'm having my industrial training.

the first company is Ann Tak Construction, then Lau Hieng Ming Construction and lastly Hock Lian Development Sdn Bhd.

half dead i knocked on the door of Ann Tak's but there was no reply, so i just put the letter on top of the shelf near the stairs entrance [no postbox ><]

then i moved on to Lau Hieng Ming's. a clerk asked where do i come from, after some explanation, the clerk handed in the letter, then asked me to have a seat. i was sort of, "huh??" cause i was wearing a tee shirt, short pants and a pair of crocs! impossible an interview today. then after some time, a lady came out and asked how did i get to know that company, i said i drove passed and saw it etc etc. then she told me that if there's any news, she'd call me.

after that, i went to Hock Lian's. before this, i did call the person-in-charge, Mr Wong, regarding this. but when i called again last week, a lady asked me to write-in no matter what. i was like, "==!!!" nvm, write in, what's so hard? aha~ when i reached the office, it's such a coincident that Mr Wong was in! so, he sort of interviewed me on the spot lo. with my tee shirt, short pants and crocs!!!! this is my first time i encountered this la!!!zzzzzZZZZzzzz

nvm, then he explained what would i be doing, all the working hours and stuffs. finally it came to the time when he asked what's my expected salary. my thinking was, "i only come to gain experience, as long as the pay can cover my petrol and meals, that's it!" so i blurted out RM400!!!!! in less than five minutes' time, i kept scolding myself stupid! he asked me how much i want and i said RM400!!!! OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! i really salute my stupidity wuiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii......zzzzzzZZZZZZZZ stupid la stupid la stupid la stupid la stupid la~~~~ ==!!! ==!!! ==!!! ==!!! ==!!!

anyway, it's better to have a job assured rather than having a pair of hello kitty crocs right? some more, i went in to the office with SUCH an attire wor.. LOL LOL LOL ROFL ROFL ROFL!!!! muahahahahah.

side note: after one year plus of saving those 20cents and 50cents coins, i actually saved RM190!!! is it a lot?? only able to buy two pairs of kitty crocs o!*shrugs* as usual, those money is only for saving, cannot be drawn!

btw, how's ur christmas time? Calvary City Church JB had this christmas celebration yesterday from 10am till around 12sth or 1pm. since i wasnt up to anywhere and even singapore, so i went church. photos are on facebook. but the quality arent good. well, dont hope much on a 2MP phone. aha~ my christmas eve was a bad one. luckily on christmas day itself, church had celebration.

as i was tired after church yesterday, i cancelled my plan to City Square for this Y.E.S. (Year End Sale). and yea, i went today.

met Fantastic Four and a master year girl while waiting for public bus at bus stop. this Fantastic Four consisted of Four 3rd year guys *fantastic FOUR mar...* and they are no joke fantastic.

we reached CS at 12sth. initially this Fantastic Four told me that they might be leaving at around 2sth or 3pm. and so, i accompanied them with their shoppings after i came up with an agreement with the master year girl that we'll meet again at around 5sth to go back to Taman Uni together.

things didnt turn out to be as planned. i accompanied the Fantastic Four until around 4pm when i realized that they gonna continue their shopping and i HADNT bought any clothes yet! so i was off on my own to hunt for my CNY clothes while they continue theirs. i done mine at around 5sth. and the fantastic part about this Fantastic Four is, they were STILL shopping when i texted zhiming koko *my direct*!!!!! OMG! they done their shopping officially at 6pm. oh dear~~~~~ man, they are guys! me girl only take about an hour or so to finish. even the master year girl went back at 4sth =___= some more, they eye only on high-end stuffs. no flea market's quality. from watch to shoes. guess what, seiko, john master, nike etc etc, and nike alone is not enough. still have puma, adidas and maybe new balance. baleno and bossini are not in their lists. [faint long long]

one told me that it's their first time to have a girl shopping around with them. normally only the four of them doing the shopping and giving advice to one another. when being asked why i dont go hunt my own clothes while they do their shopping instead of looking at them, i told them that i'll hunt mine when they've done theirs. and can learn what kind of clothes would guys normally shop for by the way too. aha~ it's my first time to do shopping with a group of guys too!

i have quite a good harvest. three tops and a pair of new jeans! oh yeah~~~~ havent been getting new jeans for quite some years. but hey! i'm not done yet! still have heels/sandals, handbag and some accessories. a good harvest does imply that my pocket is having a big BIG hole now! ROFL!!! i thought i might get some nice stuffs from boutique like Mango as it's having a sale up to 50% but well... instead of harvesting clothes on sale, none of the clothes i bought has a discount. oh no! wait, there's one! 20%! ONLY *sigh*

p.s: never ever look down on guys' shopping power. i'm raising white flag. legs might get painful tonight. fingers crossed they wont lah!

experience working as a Canon promoter:

it was an e-comm fair at persada johor convention centre. combining home electrical appliances and computer accessories and stuffs. haha.

first time.

worked as part timer at supermarket; as a clerk; as a tutor; as a cashier for padini, but never as a promoter during a fair. teehee.

a nice one, i can say. tho tiring. it's superb tiring. no own resting time. the only time to rest is during ur meal. say the longest time u can finish ur meal is 30mins, then u get 30mins of rest. like tat lo. 

during that three days, i'd been yelling over same sentence--"sir/madam, have a look at our canon printers, u'll get three years of warranty if u buy now, the offers valid until the 30th of sep." LOL

and i'd been explaining the same thing for dunno-how-many-donkey times.

the good and bad about the six models that were on sale at the booth. if any customer wanted a certain model, we'll tell him the features, at the same time comparing between models. in the end, customers chose the more expensive one. a lady in charge there was really amazed by us. she didnt expect us to be able to sell more expensive printers and caused the cheaper one a.k.a only with printing function one didnt sell good. ROFL.

the last day of the fair was funny. at around 9sth at nite, people were shouting "lelong lelong~~" LOL. then when it was almost 10pm, there was a human wave noise. from the front of the hall to the back. lol. yelling sth like "yeah!" or wat. haha..

and i was smiling from my heart. LOL

started working from 11am till 10sth. reached hostel at around 11sth. i was really insane la.

i started working on friday, when i actually had 2hours of highway engineering lectures. then the following monday has one geotechnic quiz and one english assignment. yet i took up the job, which conquered all of my time except bed time. whenever i reached my room after work, i was no joke exhausted. there's no free time for assignment and also revision. hahahahaha...-.-"

i ended up skipping the 2hours of lectures on monday morning for the geotechnic's revision. and since the geotechnic lecturer was busy, so only had 30mins for the quiz. then i grabbed the rest of the time for the assignment. 1hour plus for a one and a half page of essay plus facebook-ing and msn-ing. ROFL!!! me very geng kan? wahahahahaha...

a bad kick start for test 2

i stayed up late since monday nite. till around 330am, for tonight's test. well, noone to be blamed. four chapters for the numerical method paper, i started on monday nite. with a cup of nescafe every night. woke up at around 7sth, skipped two morning's classes.

i managed to finish the revision on time. not really a revision also. ever since the lecturer started with chapter 3 after test 1, i understood nth. so i actually learned that 4 chapters in these few nights.

20marks for this test. kena killed. darn.

6 marks GONE LIKE THE WIND. unless the lecturer wanna give me markah kasihan *mercy marks*

and that's the only 6-mark question. 

i used degree to calculate instead of using radian &^%$#@!!@@#$$

who to blame? me la! haiz.

status: free for death but not sickness. Q me would be the wisest choice. first sem of my second year only. my senior koko wasnt as busy as me during his second year first sem le.

had class yesterday morning, as a result i went for evening's sunday service. thank God has evening's sunday service. hehe.

before the service ended, the indian funny pastor prayed for the members.  i didnt go up for the prayers initially, then a sis asked me to go up, so i go up lo.

the pastor preached on Luke where a widow was weeping bitterly for her dead son and Jesus saw tat and raised her son.

it's about miracle. 

when i was up before the stage, i prayed for some things on my own know?

then pastor walked to me and started praying for me. Lord spoke to me through him before the pastor wanted to say something.

"the Lord is the God of restoration. he heals every broken parts. whatever u lost, he'll pay u back double folds. he'll help u to find ur first love that u've lost. he'll raise u to be his true worshipper as told in Isaiah. u'll serve him......" then la la la couldnt remember well.

once again i experienced his love!^^v

past two days, i had blank pages on my devotion notebook. no verses. i tot God didnt speak to me ki. then before yesterday's service started, i prayed tat i might experience God and tat He may speak to me through the sermon also o.. hehe... see how real God is. haha.

very happy eh... wheeeeeeeeeeeee....

i'll hold on wat God's said. hehe..
