-at work-

since I'm serving my notice period, so theres no site for me to be in charge of.
no point letting me in charge of a site, then weeks later have to do another submission for another Resident Engineer to replace me. that would be pretty troublesome.
so basically currently I will be here and there, standing in for any Resident Engineers who are on leave.

been to two HDB sites for the past week.
surprisingly the properties here in Singapore are of double standards.
HDBs are of lower standards, and private properties are of higher standards, yet price of HDB isn't cheap at all. government huh... hmmm... *not to comment much* haha

since they are HDB sites, so there are several Resident Technical Officers under Resident Engineer.

the first site i went on last monday and tuesday, the RTOs there.... really no eyes see. i can only say that, the RE of the site is really like tua pek gong, sitting in the office blow aircond =.= so the RTOs also live a life of RE, just hide in office. and whoever gonna buy any unit there, bless you! for me, i won't even rent a room there. if only I'm the RE of the site.... both the RTOs and the contractor will get a lot from me. for the two days, looking at the way the RTOs work, i wanna faint. if I'm there permanently, they gonna cry. pffft
i even jokingly asked the site engineer where had he built, i won't wanna stay there =P he's kind of speechless when i said i won't wanna stay at places he had built XD XD XD

the second one, not bad. i finally feel the privilege as an RE XD XD the RTOs stood there taking care of casting while i could go out to have a sumptuous lunch with the contractors, coincidentally they had to treat the safety auditors a meal.
during the casting, i had to hide inside the office, if i went down and stood there taking care of the casting, the engineers will quickly come out from the office, thinking that theres sth wrong with the process *laugh die me, really* and since, whenever i go down site for site walk, if i met the engineers in-charge of the block, i would have to tell him not to worry, i just go down to have a look on the progress and such XD XD really funny!!! XD XD

the similarity of both contractors is, their engineers all ask till when will i be at their sites. then i would ask, "why? you enjoy being tortured or scolded by me is it?" XD XD seriously they looked like longing for me to stay permanent at their places =.= okay, i know I'm pretty, don't like that leiii, i pai sei leiii XD XD *okay, i know i very thick face, don't slap me with crocodile XD XD*

thoughts

just about less than five hours before MH370 was detected missing *not "reported" missing*, the man was at the airport waiting to go home, saying that he's very tired through the week, probably due to the bad weather. and i reminded him to rest well and take care while he's at home, since the air quality there isn't good too. and he said, "will come back in one piece. don't worry."

after the news of the missing aircraft was released, I'm kind of happy that he said that he will be back in one piece and had me not to worry much, although it wasn't referring to any technical fault of aircraft. well, i do pray for his safe flight every time he flies back.
that kind of assurance at such a timing is really....... well, feel good =)

with a sudden news which DSAI was being sent to jail, followed by the missing aircraft.... seriously, cherish the people around you while you can, family, friends, relative, significant partner, etc. i was even a bit thick-faced to ask a friend, tho a guy, to cherish me, by treating me a meal etc. okay, i know I'm bad =P
but thats what we should do isn't it? cherish, in all ways.

random hawker foods

always like this local dish of Singapore - fried hokkien prawn mee.
tried several stalls before , Old Airport Hawker Centre at Dakota; the one at Hong Lim Hawker Centre; still couldn't get the taste right. =/
found this Kim Hai Hokkien Mee at Circuit Hawker Centre, which been strongly recommended by some bloggers in Singapore.
not bad though. just wonder how does the main branch one taste like. but kinda far from my place. hmm..
but i will never ever like this kind of three layer porks. no matter which stall, the piggy taste is too strong =.=

Chinatown Hainanese Curry Chicken Rice at Maxwell Food Centre.
not much youngsters in the queue when i visited it.
i just randomly queued for it, as not much stalls were operating on Sunday.
i do like this. the sunny side up.. ngawwwww the well-marinated chicken cutlet *thumbs up*
curry sauce is good too ;)
