month2

and here comes Feb…
end of my CNY holidays, where i had my koala life at home.

eat - nap - eat - sleep - eat - nap - eat - sleep - eat - nap - eat - sleep and the cycle repeated itself for the one whole week ever since the first day i reached home, as it was morning when i reached home, so i managed to have my nap on that day XD theres no exception even during Chinese New Year. with a two-hours nap in the afternoon, i was still able to hit the sack at around 10sth or 11 at night. a very koala koala life indeed XD
perhaps that showed how tired am i in singapore.

to tune a koala life back to normal robotic life is very tormenting, as though i had a terrible jet lag. its about few days since I'm back to singapore, i'd still get sleepy when the clock hits 1sth in the afternoon, dying for nap, yet unable to have one T_T i feel like killing myself

stepping into new month of the year, something changed here and there.

i started teaching in sunday school, after almost a year leading in praise and worship. yesterday was my first time teaching. on the saturday night, despite the tiredness, i still had to prepare the lesson for the next day while waiting for my laundry.
"coincidentally" my partner teacher was very sick, and my helper basically still blur about what she has to do so it was a one-man show. a Me, to five kids who are 6 and under T_T
pre-opening activity, praise and worship, opening activity to prepare them for the bible lessons, bible lessons, a bit of talking and explanation before art and craft. seriously ONE-MAN show!!! thank God that there was a mother and a maid to take care of their kids, so its not very extreme for me but still, i was completely K.O.!!!
imagine they are 6 and under. after weeksssss of having lego blocks as pre-opening activity, and i really really cannot tahan the mess created when they pour the whole bucket of lego blocks on the floor instead of on the table, i instructed them to clear the mess and i came up with this Simon Says game. really good. and I was really +_+ at the end of the game. during the 20mins, i had to try to drain their energy so that they could sit still during the bible lesson time, so i "brilliantly" came up with, "Simon says,"run around!"" and stuffs. and well, as a teacher, i have to run around also. the space isn't big, so the adults got K.O. with the running. all became @_@ brilliant me >_<
dealing with five 6 and under is really worse than having a world war. really really very exhausted. had to tackle them when theres minor conflict.. but to them its very big issue. tried very hard to catch their attention back when the youngest one cried for milk during bible lesson time.

somehow glad that these actly did a bit of magic during the opening activity and post bible lesson session =) a bit la.. a bit nia…. better than nothing haha!

a church aunty said, "being a teacher is very tiring hor.. I'm an ah ma myself also feel that its very tiring" then i said, "being an ah ma probably only have to tackle one or two (coz sg birth rate not so high per family) but a sunday school teacher has to tackle four or five @@"
but thank God its only once a month la… haha! and this might be the only time i would have this one-man show, since i have a partner teacher ;)

a good experience though, not going to complain much, except that i was really exhausted, that i skipped gym session in that afternoon, some more end up with a not-so-good nap.
i m happy when the kids enjoyed themselves during the games and even with only one or two able to remember what i taught.

one have to be hyper in order to deal with kids aged 6 and under, for such age category is hyper one. i m raising white flag *chuckle*
